A New restaurant in Paris has recently opened that captures the glamour and glitz of the Roaring 20s

If you are looking for a unique dining experience that can take you back in time, there is a restaurant in Paris that can make you feel like you are in the 1920s. The Mistinguett restaurant, located inside the Casino de Paris music hall, is named after the famous French singer-dancer who was the highest-paid female entertainer of her time. The restaurant boasts stunning vintage decor, including feathered Murano chandeliers, velvet red booths, and chairs with lacquered legs. The architects Hugo Vince and Adèle Nourry have done a great job in creating this vintage-inspired restaurant.

The menu, which is prepared by Chef Etienne Daviau, changes with the seasons and includes classic French cuisine with a modern twist. The dishes include veal tenderloin wrapped in pastry and smoked chestnut butternut soup. The extensive drink menu also fits the theme of the restaurant. It features cocktails named after famous showgirls of the era, such as Josephine Baker and Zizi Jeanmaire, who once performed in the Parisian music halls.

The Mistinguett offers live entertainment, including singers, dancers, and acrobats, to make diners feel like they are attending a Gatsby-esque event. The restaurant's stunning Art Nouveau-style stained glass window, which dates back to 1922, adds to the ambiance of the place. The red and black leopard print carpet and dozens of artful lights add to the overall vintage charm of the restaurant. If you are looking for a must-visit destination in Paris, the Mistinguett is an excellent choice.
